i saw gkids was releasing end of evangelion in theaters, in north america for the very first time, no less. i texted my girlfriend.

i'm not gonna write a whole thing about it, since i'm only 11 episodes in, but i can confidently say i'm liking the show at 29 a lot more than i did at 13/14. i can appreciate aspects of characterization that pissed me off as a teenager, and as an adult i can more easily marvel at the incredible levels of production on display. can't wait for sunday.
