what the hell gacha adoptables??? god I didn't know that was a thing
it SUCKS usually there's like an "autobuy" option but god it feels scummy. here's the pricing of the one I just saw:
"random roll: $10
reroll: +$5 (rerolls are unlimited!)
autoclaim: $20 (or $35 for a bonus headshot!)
+$5 to exclude any 1 row or column (can be stacked!)"
like... it's the same type of closed species money grabbing shit that drives me crazy
ugh jesus. why can't people avoid exploiting each other for no good reason like that. I respect auctions but this is weird and bad. why not just have the real price they want without the gambling element. I really don't get closed species either.
I don't feel so bad now for charging $20 for an adoptable, at least it was a flat price lol
imo $20 is like nothing for an adoptable, you definitely shouldn't feel guilty at all for that price. an adoptable is a one of a kind design (sometimes with one of a kind art) and all! it starts feels scummy for me when ppl start introducing gambling or gatcha or rarity elements into the mix
LOLLLLLL don't forget to add closed species to the mix. don't you know this one has the ultra rare party hat trait that makes it soooo valuable
