see here's the thing: toads are fungi. They have literally millions of genders. Consider this metaphorical diagram:

the amazing thing about toadette is that her six thousand genders are aligned in a way you and I can actually recognise it

She's tuned her gender to resonance, like when you're carefully stepping the load and tune controls on a Continental Electronics 816, and eventually the plate current and stack temperature dip with the output power peaked and you have a gender

Please do not even look hard at the PTek amplifiers in the right cabinet, they are cursed

i'm a little perplexed that there's no thermometer stuck in the air stack on the left, that's kinda required equipment on the 816 because it will fake you out

it'll look like you have it tuned to resonance but it isn't, it's just... doing... something cursed with high circulating current in the cavity

you would only notice if you knew the normal PA efficiency and were comparing that, but that'd require reading three meters and dividing the result so the easiest way to tell as you're going along is seeing how much heat it's yeeting
