I've allowed myself to get a bit more lax with what I keep game-wise. I'm generally allergic to having "stuff", by which I mean anything I'm not actively using. I don't know why I'm wired this way, and it sure doesn't do any favors when your major hobbies involve keeping boxes and books on shelves.

So I've tried to let things, y'know, sit a bit more. To grow patience. But moving my stuff recently meant I couldn't just store it all in a closet, so now I have to look at it every day, and I can't do it. My usual plan is to sell some things locally and give others to friends, so that's what I intend to do.

I guess what I'm saying is, I sort of understand the acquisition-obsessed mentality that's so pervasive in board games. I have it too - just in reverse. I want things gone so hard that it instills a sense of urgency. Can't complain though, at least I like looking at the stuff that survives the culling.
