I'm currently watching Godzilla Minus One, so naturally I've taken a break to look up the history of Godzilla games. My eyes fell on this specific pinhole in the 90s, where hardcore Godzilla fell out of fashion for a bit and they tried to rebrand the creature with a more chibi style, which led to this Godzilla Wars Jr. arcade cabinet (along with another game), where you try to launch missiles into this lil guy's mouth. It's frigging adorable.

Fascinating! I own one of the Chibi Godzilla alarm clocks (bought cheap at a garage sale) and always wondered if it was part of a line of other products versus just some random tie-in.
