probably just get a universal remote from Walmrat or something? it'll have the codes for Toshiba in the manual. the manuals are kinda important to setting up a universal remote or I'd even just say get one from a thrift store.

ive never programmed one so i was hesitant to do the thrift route yeah, tho if i can manage to find a manual online for one they have at goodwill, that could slap.

yep can confirm, also using an off-the-shelf universal remote for a similar vintage TV. got a nice Trinitron, but I need to get in there and fix some issues someday soon. anyway, they clearly have codes for TV's all the way back to the 80's at least. that's part of why they list like twenty codes for each manufacturer, so they can account for the changes over the years.
