Calling it now: if that Oblivion "remake" is the real deal, its going to be the equivalent of the rockstar trilogy "definitive edition." The fact they're purportedly using unreal SCREAMS it out loud and proud.
Prove me wrong.
I have a lot of thoughts about the entire leak (Microsoft wanting to buy Valve would be a ticking time bomb into being a game ender for OS freedom, Microsoft wanting to get Nintendo under thumb is.. less horrifying but would still probably mean a lot less innovation and unique hardware in the industry) but a lot of the smaller details I'm hung up on. I am intrigued that the Oblivion remaster was set for 2022 originally and got delayed, though.
