I created a golden binder to stabilize the crystal.
Soulbinding was a success.
I gave it a form.
I didn't know it at the time, but this would be the first instance of a Dreamite Dragon, a new species by yours truly.

What a beautiful place it has been.

I suck at talking to others and am unlikely to respond to comments. Please don't take it personally if I don't reply. I promise I've read it.
I will try my best, though. No promises on a response. :3
That being said, if you wanna say something to me, do drop an ask! I'm more likely to respond to a directed question over a comment.

I stared at the glowing pile of dust in the controlled environment.
Despite my best efforts, any time I would try to bind a soul to the artificial crystal, it would crumble to dust.
It was perfectly stable without a soul, but something about soul energy made it unstable.
I would find a way eventually... I just had to keep experimenting.
I remembered about a well documented universal anomaly, the "Warp's."
They would appear on random worlds, born with a soulbound blue crystal.
I attempted to recreate this blue crystal, and use it as a soul vessel.
All I needed to do now, was to grab a wandering soul from the cycle and bring it in.
A long long time later, and The Expanse was covered in many different plants.
However, aside from Solar and Lunar, any life I attempted to make would simply crumble to ashes.
I had spent a few thousand years worth of attempts, but all were futile.
I had to try something different.
