I did what I had to do to at least have a chance to save everyone.
I blinked to where the Seed of Creation would've been in that very moment. Prismatic lights shot out into space as I absorbed it.
But... By teleporting away to get the Seed, I had temporarily weakened The Expanse's planetary shield.
The very next moment, I felt a surge of energy...
Suddenly, I felt fluctuations in reality. A trail suddenly appeared far right of me. A superluminal object known as a Seed of Creation.
I was shaken. Only five of these would ever exist in this reality, according to the Time Jumpers.
But, it also meant that this star's supernova would be superluminal as well. I would not be able to survive, and so would the others.
I had to do something. Attempt to harness the seed, and have a chance to save my planet and the other two, or perish.
I watched over my world. Two other Protectors were with me, watching over theirs. There were three, but one could hold on no longer.
Our solar system's star was dying.
We were all worn out from nearly a million years of having our planetary shields up.
Especially me. I was close to the brink of total exhaustion.
"I would." You respond.
"Very well, then." The Dreamer's voice echoes.
