It's funny / weird / sad how your own brain can forget much of what you've seen. Like if you'd shown me this photo without further context I couldn't have said with any certainty that I'd seen this place with my own eyes. I only know I did because my photos still exist. By looking at others taken the same day I was able to recall that this was a brief rock-climbing trip with friends, I think near Yosemite.
