i regret to inform you i am at it again

Panasonic BT-D1910Y, manufactured Dec 1987. cursory five minutes of on-site testing with the seller waiting nearby made it seem somewhat dim (expected given the age) but geometry was promising.

the wonderfully curved bubble tube is a main attraction, as well as it being slot mask (instead of the usual Sony Trinitron aperture grille), and its modest ~550 TV lines across a nice-sized 19" screen...i don't like my console gaming CRTs overly sharp. i think my local expert friends can rejuvenate the tube (restore some brightness), hopefully making this a more lovely screen for '80s and '90s gaming.

this model is just about undocumented online so looking forward to getting it on CRT Database. it was followed by the better-known BT-D1920Y; i wonder what differences/improvements that had.

edit: it has a page now πŸŽ‰Andy don't f around
