apparently the 1982 to 1994 run of Marvel Comics' G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, written by Larry Hama, is quite fun nostalgia, so i went looking.
after discarding a few hilaribad low-res scans of yellowed '80s relics i was happy to learn all 155 issues got reprinted in pristine-quality anthology volumes starting in 2009. (new issues continued the story for another five volumes after that, too.) this site's 2019 post has just enough still-working links to grab all 20 volumes, huzzah (JDownloader 2 recommended).
