It's kinda weird thinking about how there's tens of thousands of people on this site but because the design is explicitly not meant to push "discoverability" in our faces folks just form their own natural little circles.

There are entire pockets of weirdness on Cohost yet to be seen by you or me!

yes! i've thought about this a lot, and how difficult i find it to comprehend that a pool of data is deep when i can only see a few dozen, or a few hundred, representative members on the surface. the phrase "unfathomably deep" is a perfect fit. my limited meat-based CPU cannot fathom the true size or diversity.

i get a little down that i have automagically burrowed myself into my same old comfortable nerdholes here on Cohost to the exclusion of who knows what, or who, that might expand my horizons. i wanna expand those muthas! meet interesting new people!

i have the same problem with how VRChat surfaces (or doesn't surface) its ~100,000 worlds. instead of feeling like there are infinite vistas to be discovered (which, for any one player, there literally are) i inevitably feel constrained and low on inspo re: new places to check out.
