i'm not one of those cohost users, i hardly know what any of this stuff means. but .avi files are useless in my humble, uneducated opinion. i've never had a problem with .mp4 files, that's what i used when i was in a film class. so i don't fuck with .avi files. feel free to tell me if i'm foolish.
