Lineart always takes me a while. I tend to be discontent with my brush strokes, and I find it also sort of makes me extend the sketching/planning up just so i make sure i don't fuck up the lines. So I guess the end of the sketching process, maybe, to be more accurate?
In my teens, when i was drawing a lot more I always used pencil, never ink. I didn't have a rendering stage, so I kinda lacked that part when transitioning to digital. But paintings feel different; I usually let myself render as much as I want without expectations. I guess my brain goes "oh pretty color"
I still have a lot to work on with my art process, I think.
