Thinking I might make a name generator for the first time in a long while.
The idea is to have it apply name-changing rules (James <-> Seamus, Charles <-> Chuck, Timothy <-> Tim, William <-> Bill) to other names with similar phonemes (Timothy -> Tim -> Jim -> Jimothy)
I think I just need to create the set of transforms, apply them repeatedly to all names until there's no new ones made, collect the new ones and save them, and then pull a few from the new ones by themselves
My favorite was Flim -> Flames
Please comment here if you can think of other nickname transformations that might broadly apply and aren't already listed in the notebook, and I'll try to add them when I have time.
Fun fact: for one like Bill -> William, since the B and W are so important to the transformation. I got a little creative by ceaser-cyphering around the set of consonants in alphabetical order by the same amount as the original (17).
