It's time for another feature length movie! A good example of edutainment aimed to teach just a tad about some river mammals living in Poland. Along the way your ears will get to enjoy some polish country music.
The beaver song is the best one btw (though to be clear this is not a musical-there are only three full numbers in the whole movie).
I keep saying 'movie' but to be clear this is a movie version of a TV show- a practise more common in polish animated movies than an animated movie made to be one from the get go. I am not an expert but on top of my head I can only think of two that weren't made by cobbling together individual episodes of TV series-though I am by no means an expert. Still, it at least was more common than not for an animated series to be TV show first. Speaking of, this movie also had two sequel series, though I don't think these have english subtitles.
Related, the tradition of 'semi-educational story about polish animals' is still being cultivate by a series called ,Ryjówka przeznaczenia' -,The Shrew of Destiny', a series of comic books aimed at kids about shrews and others living in Białowieża forest.
And it's getting a feature length movie sometime in the future!
