Hm. Does anyone know why quotes so often don't have a place for the author of the quote?..

Like, in markdown, you have

> Quote.

But where do you put the person from whom the quote is?

You could do

> Quote. (Author)

But then it looks like author is the part of the quote. (especially on cohost which adds β€œβ€)

You could also do

> Quote.

Author.

But that just always looks weird.

Why not have syntax for the author?...
