sometimes i have dreams that i run into someone i had a falling out with, either an ex or a former friend, and we immediately resume whatever argument led to the dissolution of our relationship. the only thing that makes it dreamlike is that it’s either in an unusual setting, like a boardwalk amusement park, or sometimes a random minor celebrity is there. Neko Case was once present for an argument with an ex about what an asshole I was to them. otherwise it’s just a very boring and stressful dream that i feel compelled to engage with.
