Wrote a poem. Not sure exactly if it's anything, but it is what it is. Couldn't get the spacing/tabs to show up in the actual post, so I just screenshotted it and am posting that instead. Transcript in the alt text, if folks want that.

for a split second, i assumed @linker straight up wrote a whole poem inside a tag and didn't even think twice because that would have been very on-brand for this site haha

there's some options for this! all use some amount of html/css knowledge however. The pre tag is a good idea, but you also have to undo the special formatting by using styles, so it'd look something like this: <pre style="background-color: inherit; color: inherit; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">YOUR TEXT HERE</pre>. That way it resets the formatting to cohost's defaults (but yes, you do still have to replace the asterisks with something else).
