welp, finally got covid again after being an early adopter in March 2020. can't say I'm a fan of this but it is certainly interesting to compare vaccinated 300th wave rona to original flavor
I bought a two pound tub of watermelon as heat wave cope and oh god. absolutely exquisite when fevery and sore throaty
I called the NYC Covid hotline and will get some Paxlovid delivered to my home tomorrow. The urgent care doctor was like "oh you had the original style in March 2020? this must be nothing to to you" and I was like "yeah! pretty much!!" round one I nearly died and was sick for a year, round two here I'm feeling shitty but upright and playing video games and I ate like a three pound burrito
funny thing from the first time I had covid is that I was in denial that that's what it was for a long while, since we just didn't have much information on how it presented and my case didn't match what we'd heard about so far, so the moment where I was like "oh boy... yeah... I think this is it" was somewhere in the like two days I spent unconscious, occasionally rousing myself from bed to watch hbomberguy's Pathlogic video for the first time in snippets
