feels like there’s gotta be a big enough trans community in seattle that one could start collectively paying for ppl to get certs in phlebotomy, pharmacy, esthetics, etc and end up with an entire network of trans care operated by trans ppl

like, just googling for seattle area esthetician courses i found one for $15,000, which means that 15 ppl pooling their money would pay only $1,000, which, considering that it wouldn't have to be paid all at once, seems totally doable, if difficult.

and if you got even more people, or ppl put it in based on a sliding scale of income, its even easier, and you've both given someone a trade AND established a contact in your community with motivation to further help the community.

that's not even counting what could potentially happen if you could round robin it, or have them pay forward to more ppl, with whatever new income they're able to get

that's dual power AND mutual aid, baybee

Pharmacy is, unfortunately, an outrageously expensive business, and heavily regulated. Short of T getting taken off the controlled substance list, I don't think it's feasible. :( Labtechs and aestheticians, though, are VERY achievable.

that was definitely the one i was most hazy on lol, altho i definitely thought more like, ppl working at an established pharmacy rather than starting a new one
