absolutely will never not WEEP at the ending of final fantasy 6. I have played this game fully probably 15 or 20 times, I have been playing it since the DAY it was released in north america, the story is so meaningful and so good and so well done, and it does more for me every time. doesn't matter how well you do in this game, part way through you LOSE. you lose fucking everything. and then.. you figure out how to go on. and you find that these things are worth saving, worth working for, even when it seems like nothing's left. GOSH GOSH GOSH I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH

when I finished that for the first time as I kid I had a little mini tape recorder and I put it up next to the TV to record the music/sound through the whole final battle and the ending credits!! no ending has ever been better!!
Oh my god I love that. I'm sure my bros have VHS tapes of our having beaten it back in the day!
