I'm pleased to say that I have started a new game of Daggerfall ( the new Unity version! )! I have been killed probably eight times, and I haven't made it out of the "tutorial" dungeon. i love this game

Daggerfall is the best game I know for "catching werewolf" or "catching vampire." I spent a lot of time letting myself get swatted by things to try and turn the game into a weird time of day or time of month challenge.

Magic in this one is wild. You can custom design spells and shit. It really lets you play with the guts that drive the engine.
