I wish I liked memoir or books of essays. Trying to read what I think is kinda both right now, will go unnamed, and the writing is, good, I guess? I just don't, really care... I think the only ones of those I've liked have been a few of David Foster Wallace's books of essays, and Lab Girl by Hope Jahren which was an unexpectedly fantastic memoir of mental health intertwined with metaphors of plant biology and what it's like running a grant funded lab. Better than it sounds!!!
