yeah honestly i think i'm gonna start pushing back against any anti-intellectualism that comes my way. it's getting very tiring seeing people online cry about pretentiousness when they see a 5 dollar word
due to inflation, words that were $5 when that phrase was coined are now $36
It's not even directed at me and all I want is to drop this person into a pit with a rabid coyote. At least I can block this person, but jeeeez.
Honestly, to say nothing in regards to the reply, I like the point you're making in the original tweet. I've definitely fallen into the pitfall of "anything I write must fully follow the laws of nature and logic, and if it doesn't, then it must be excised or have a detailed explanation codified into the narrative universe."
...Maybe I ought to just write shit that feels fun and not worry about what other people who likely won't even see the story might have to ask in regards to any seeming irregularities in the fictitious, fantastical world I'm writing about.
