idk what the situation with their funder is but if they're going to end the year with a month or two of runway.... makes me nervous

we're not party to those conversations but based on our own experience seeking funding for things, Cohost is in a strong position right now. they've got a dramatic, recent success to point to, their numbers are on a positive trend, and the funder clearly believes in Cohost's core mission or they wouldn't have funded them in the first place. that's exactly what you need when you're asking a funder for just a little more runway.
It sounds like they've already negotiated a new loan from their existing funder, from the financial report. That said I would happy accept any new ways to give them money
Exactly on both points. The last official post said it's in their court, the funding will happen, they just need to pick a number to tell the funder.
But I also agree they should allow a higher donation option. Doesn't even need to be tiered, just "type in your own number greater than 5"
to second what other folks have said, don't worry about us! while we don't have the check in hand, we have a strong guarantee from our funder that they trust our leadership and are committed to seeing us through to breakeven.
