God, imagine actually being able to make the parts I need every time I need to fix my vintage bike

apparently my library district runs a makerspace with some etsy-grade tools, which is neat
every library should have a waterjet cutter with a 20x20 foot bed and it should be capable of sawing your arm off like it's butter. every library should be equipped to manufacture an airplane
thought that said milking machine. the part about nuts and bolts makes a lot more sense on a closer read
Okay but this is what decent hardware stores are for and maybe thatās where this should go. A good hardware store you go in and talk to a guy and he does like $40 of labor to fix your doodad and charges you 20Ā¢ for the materials cost because heās just there for the love of it.
hardware stores have lathes and milling machines??
also we should combine hardware stores and libraries with the post office. and also do national banking there. and maybe some healthcare too while we're at it
I donāt know how much they actually do right now? I think Stadium Hardware mightāve had a lathe. But I think theyāre definitely the people more qualified and interested in providing this service.
