i really wish we could put the cat back in the bag with guns, as a species. i do not like them. they have not helped us.

if I ever meet a genie, my wishes will all be of the radically restructuring society type ("get rid of 99% of cars and parking in cities and replace it with robust public transit"). I guess another one of my wishes should be "no guns or weapons more advanced than guns exist and we lose the knowledge of how to recreate them."
