two important things to consider as you use cohost and adjust to how it works

ASSC have made many intentional design decisions not to implement features and behaviors common to other social media websites. They want to ensure Cohost's functionality is designed to fight unhealthy culture and behaviors. This might be your first time using a website that's designed with positive intent. If something is missing, consider it might be intentional
ASSC is climbing all over the website and welding things onto it as it hurtles forward at 150 miles per hour with everyone inside. They are taking heavy gunfire. Many things aren't implemented yet. do you know if there's some type of, like, manifesto of ASSC's intentions for cohost? otherwise it's hard to know whether or not an unimplemented feature is coming soon or like, It's Good That It's Like That Actually. if you get what i'm saying.

emily is being a little cheeky here (ty for the manifesto link emily) but you can check out our "coming up on cohost" section in the patch notes or the features section in our bug tracker to take a look at what we have planned or in progress (with the caveat that sometimes performance needs or unforeseen Events change up our immediate feature priorities)

I honestly wouldn't mind having a feature to look back at stuff I've liked. Right now it just feels like I put a heart on something and then lose it in the void unless I repost it on my profile...

is there like, any kind of comphrehensive list anywhere that specifies what parts of the site have been designed intentionally?

it might be nice to avoid leaving things up to interpretation, bc for some features, it's difficult to tell the difference between "this is intentional" vs "we haven't gotten around to this yet".

plus i'd think it'd be really useful to avoid going through the trouble of writing a whole thread post on the suggestions forum only to then find out it's not a bug or missing feature lol

yeah! I would love to know the reasoning behind no follower counts and no like counts. I think i like these changes! but am very curious what went into these decisions (and just the process of designing a social media site)

I don't know if there's a comprehensive list, but their feature request tracker has a "Not Taken" label for suggestions they've formally said "no" to.
