I know cohost is not about being upfront with information, but I kinda wish you could view shares of a post, like how Twitter did.
I sometimes want to know what people are saying about a post, but a lot of times replies or "yes, and" comments are not in the replies of a post, but following a repost. Like, yeah, I would like to see this other person's take or supplemental info on such-and-such news story or tech, but they didn't post it as a reply, and I wouldn't see it unless the OP or someone I happen to know shared the entire post along with the new share that had that.
yeah... kinda seems like i only get made aware of my stuff getting shared if someone shares with an addition to the post itself, and even then, i'm likely not to notice unless i start seeing the share get extra likes (as "several people liked a share of your post"). people adding comments into the tags means those comments won't appear in the notifications. which i can kind of get around by clicking through to every single sharer's page, but that's a pain and feels wrong to do that.
