A. Getting all the screws and hinges in my laptop replaced, the plastic epoxied, and the keyboard replaced
Or B. Scrounging up for a more powerful laptop and transferring all my stuff there.

My current Envy TouchSmart 15 is nearly a whole decade old and I'll need help either way. I've been researching both ways of going about this, and this video sounds good (Not sure if it covers the model I own, though).

For now, I've ended up with a new back cover and epoxied hinges. The newer inbuilt keyboard is sadly too thick for my laptop, though, and the new back cover doesn't seem to have the spring lock needed to keep my new ethernet cables in place. My dad and I will have to keep going until things are 100%, but things are looking better!

I already disassembled my PC to replace the cooling fan and fool around with the built-in keyboard. I unfortunately can't use my built-in keyboard right now due to an accident I had on Christmas of 2019, so I use a USB keyboard instead. I also wasn't the best with remembering the order to screw things back in so... shrug
