For Game Club, playing the mysterious chain game Gardens of Vextro (multiple devs, 2022). Why play 1 game when you could play 8? That's just basic math, baby.
Movie Club
Once again flawlessly on theme, we're doing "anthology" "films" for Movie Club, screening Cosmic Slop (Reginald Hudlin, Kevin Rodney Sullivan, and Warrington Hudlin, 1994), A Touch of Sin (Jia Zhangke, 2013), and Cleaners (Glenn Barit, 2019). If you think about it, a movie club is kind of like an anthology, too...
Book Club
Having emerged from the BLAME! cave, we enter the warm pastures of Animorphs, Book 1: The Invasion (K.A. Applegate, 1996). Join us at the end of the month for a screening of the first two episodes of the TV show, which is surely as normal as the books.
Anime Crimes
Anime gets no poster, and you don't get to know what we're watching. It's slice of life. It's magical girl. It's girl's love. The mystery grab bags continue and I've no one to blame but myself.
