Screaming over dropping this game out of half-necessity half hyper-fixation with Void Stranger. These dungeons kind of dragged because Jusis's team is in dire need of a bit more firepower. As much as I love Jusis daughter doll, these mixed build characters really struggle next to raw DPS in the Coldsteel system. Miss girl helped us get our instrumentality-ish scene out of the way early though which usually bodes well for any media when it's in the middle instead of the end of a work.
The Lloyd chapter end was way more epic than necessary especially since the lease Plot happens in the Lloyd chapters so far, but it was so indulgent that I could not possibly care. A Repliku McBurn showed up which made say obscenities of fear out loud and Noel does a motorcycle hop through a burning building to do a life saving Akira Slide. Sick as shit.
Rean is in the Nord Highlands which is just fucking awful. To this day I cannot believe they needed to put an open world area in a fucking TRAILS game where I want to talk to all the silly little towns people about what local hamburger they prefer between chapters. Death to the horses. Left off at the top of the military watch tower because the area only has one dungeon to reuse and will hopefully clean up the chapter next session.
