same im really loving the vibes! talking to people more in comments than ever on tumblr is really fun and like- social? lmao
right??? i'm usually pretty asocial due to anxiety but it feels so natural and easy on here????
yes!! a big thing on tumblr is lowkey feeling bad for contributing, like if you add something more than tags (which are almost always totally ignored by people) on more than like 2 posts it made me feel guilty?? ive seen plenty of other people mentioning the same feelings, but here its just like "yes! talk! its literally why were here!" v nice v good v natural
100% agree!! i wasn't even sure about adding commentary in the tags for the longest time on there. i always felt like i was imposing by adding a comment (esp with the character limit) or heaven forbid by reblogging and adding onto the post. i'd rather go stand out in the rain fully-clothed than add onto a tumblr post
i started to just go for it a few times a day and the WORST is when somebody goes to the original post without your addition and reblogs that one, it still gives you the notif and it feels so bad lmao
not to mention the userbase for some reason decided the comments there were for losers so like- no talking allowed basically? super weird culture if im bein real
so real. the culture around interacting on tumblr is so hard for me to parse out sometimes
