You know, it's actually nice for once to NOT check Twitter for once. I don't know what it is... I feel their environments is kind of tainted in a way. I'm not sure why it's more relaxing here, but I can see why as well.
It's nice, it's simple. Over at Mastodon, I get nicer and better interactions, and over here, I can just talk about the fuller picture of what I do.
I don't have to condense it or cater to it, and I feel like this is the general direction I want social media to go.
I feel like I don't have to worry about analytics anymore and actually just post what I want to show, I kinda feel like my perception has been twisted for a long time, then actually meeting people shows many things have been filtered for the sake of views.
So you know what? I'll just treat my social media like that from now on, not the heavy stuff, just the creative stuff, and thoughtful stuff. Even incomplete or just a work in progress. It's going to be nice to be home again, in a way.
