I'm on Team Wisdom. Not sure how it's going to go! Team Power's probably going to win, and it kinda looks like Courage is lagging behind so far, but I was sure Wisdom was going to be pasted, and that's not happening so much to me! I think I'm about even in wins and losses, and I've won all the Festival Shell matches I've had (though they're only been 10x battles). On the other hand, I haven't seen any bulletins from Frye celebrating x333 wins, so that's starting to worry me.1
I don't play the Tricolor mode very much, because of how miserable I found it in the first couple of Splatfests, but I've stuck with it a bit more this time, and it feels better balanced now. Had a terrible run when I kept being put on the defending team and losing gruesomely,2 and then had a much better longer winning run with some great attacking victories.3 It's still much more fun attacking than defending.
The Triforce-shaped Scorch Gorge map is so much fun. Putting the Signal on a central hill is so devious - you can't see who else is coming up the other side until you're there. I think it also works slightly to my advantage because I mostly play slosher-type weapons, so I can hock ink blindly over the hill when I'm near the top. I hope this kind of almost-triple-symmetrical map becomes the norm for Tricolor matches going forward. It works much better than trying to hack the two-team map designs into shape.
By the way, a player called CheesyLeft on Reddit has spotted that one of the statues in Um'ami Ruins is possessed. So that's interesting.

However, I've seen a lot of Big Man celebrating x333 wins, which is warming my heart. Poor Big Man didn't really get a look-in with Team Bigfoot, and I'm glad he gets to make up for it now.

Blaming teammates is a bad habit, and I certainly didn't play well during this run. But also, please don't let me be the only one trying to defend the Ultra Signal. There's only so much I can do by myself.
