student loans company is always sending letters like "you didn't tell us something* so now we are going to KILL YOU"
*they have received this information multiple times from multiple sources
I work in higher education and have to send paperwork to SLC sometimes, and they're just as horrible to deal with as staff as they were as a student. They pull this same trick on us too, demanding information they already have written very clearly in their database. Sometimes they like to switch it up and not bother telling us or anyone else when there's a genuine problem with the paperwork, so that you only find out months later when the student tells you their loan hasn't arrived so they can't afford accommodation. Garbage company
