@bungo asked:

which dinosaur or dinosaur adjacent animal would you choose as a noble steed?

Thanks for this ask, because it's reminded me that I still have a binder of dinosaur magazines I collected when I was 5-6 years old, featuring all the most cutting-edge dinosaur science of 1997.

I gotta go through this again sometime. The collectible glow-in-the-dark dinosaur skeleton model and the 3D glasses for the double-page spreads are both long since gone, and I only have 12 issues in the binder (maybe they stopped publishing?), but I forgot how fun the magazine was. There's comics and everything. I may be Going Through It right now but thank god I'm not this guy:

Comic panels of two scientists talking about a reconstructed fossil. Scientist 1: 'You've put the head on the end of its tail!' Scientist 2, thinking, head in hands: 'How could I have made such a silly mistake? I shall never live it down!'

Anyway, after a quick look through, I think it's this dino, the Camptosaurus. They're "only" 5-7 metres, they're herbivorous, and they look like a friend.
