awhile back I was tinkering around with doing a Modern Online-themed light string-replace edit of the 1984 Apple II game The Grammar Examiner1, which is a very dangerous game in that it encourages young children to sabotage their adult lives by becoming copy editors. it never went anywhere, because I couldn't figure out which direction to take the new writing beyond "random events of performative Posting affect your real-life income," but I did save some screenshots
