Not only does Desert Bus have a day-night cycle, it’s also broken. It goes day-dusk-night-dawn, and then just alternates between night and dawn.

I guess this implies that QA on Desert Bus wasn't exactly easy to achieve due to time constraints.

There's an early puzzle in Curse of Monkey Island where you're firing a cannon at zombie pirates. If you type LAPOSTAL, the All Guns cheat code from Star Wars: Dark Forces, you get the message "Unlimited cannon balls mode ON." Type it again and you get "Unlimited cannon balls mode STILL ON." You already have unlimited cannon balls for this puzzle.

(Actually, Curse of Monkey Island is full of this kind of little easter egg. On the hard difficulty setting, if you let Cutthroat Bill choke on his gobstopper, you can watch him slowly turn purple.)
