Anyway I've been having gender difficulty lately. Dysphoria spiking and I'm unsure if detransition was the right move. It's difficult as a system when we all have different genders and the host changing can change our perception of our gender. We've been considering going back on T but it might be something to talk to our therapist about because we really really aren't sure. It's uncomfortable to think that our gender might just be too fluid to ever transition the way we really want.

Our experience is very similar, actually. 🤝 We've gotten to the point where we've committed to transitioning "far enough" that when we "detransition" it will actually be like transitioning into a more nonbinary area, for our frame of thinking about our body & how we conceive representation. That's the goal, anyway. Gender's so hard!

Entirely valid! 💜 I hope you can find a way to explore a way to perform/present your gender in maybe situational ways that makes you happy to try to offset this new/re-emerging dysphoria. 💜
