I always struggle to know what I think about spirituality. But I do think that SOMETHING gave me Withnail right when I needed him.

Withnail got me out of a relationship that would have turned very sour later if I'd stayed by highlighting red flags in my partner. And I got attached to him as a character right before my disability got worse and I lost my job. He helped me realise I was an addict, and helped me cope with that. He was infinitely comforting as a character who was an unemployed addict and Very easy to read as disabled.

And now that he's part of my system and we take care of each other. He's comforting to me and we help each other cope with disabled life. He's incredibly important to me and I feel like he saved my life. I'm really grateful that I found him right when I did.
