Here's another handful of my YGO pieces, this time in facsimile framing - Monster Reborn notwithstanding I love painting slightly more obscure or idiosyncratic card designs like Thunder Dragon - what's fun is that whenever I do paint one of these older, weirder pieces several people ALWAYS come out of the woodwork and identify them as childhood favourites. Every card, during the playrgound scarcity era card economy, had to become someone's favourite, because choice was in such short supply.

Your YGO works always turn out really beautiful. i love the look of Monster Reborn here particularly! it's interesting what cards ppl latched onto as kids. i had a lot of favs but of the less popular cards, i was really fond of Suijin and Magic Drain.
one of my fav parts of opening a new pack of YGO cards was to see what bizarro ass designs i'd get. thank you for giving attention to some of the weirder ones! i'm really enjoying seeing them in your style.
