So true! The thing is, this isn't even necessarily "non-sexual" in that I want ppl who find this portrayal attractive to like, be able to read that into it and enjoy it as well - the big swinging dick isn't the focus of the piece, but I would like people to be able to enjoy it as part of the design even as they enjoy other aspects like the pile of skulls or the grotesque pachyderm head or etc. It's a whole indulgence!
To me the nudity makes the overall tone more firmly...I think poised is the word I'm looking for, maybe? I'm not familiar with the character but I really love poses like this where displaying what could be interpreted as a physical vulnerability emphasizes the character's dignity or strength.
For sure! Within the context of Shin Megami Tensei Girimehkala is traditionally immune to physical attacks.. I like the idea that he would be fully exposed as a means of celebrating his untouchable body
Girimekhala is such a lovely subject, and your posing really makes him interesting and balanced in composition. Love how you incorporated the marbled swirls into his skin too. Great work!
