When I was younger I actually DMed like 3 or 4 long ass campaigns for my friends at school - enough that we built up a sizeable in-universe timeline and did a big timeskip reset and stuff. All D&D 4E with some adapted 3.5 monster manual stuff thrown in for kicks. It's been a long time though, I feel like these days I don't really have the time or the consistent scheduling ability to do more than admire ttrpg stuff from a distance, although GOD i'd love to work on one in an illustrative capacity. I got close to it twice right before the SZX contract but both times I was dropped at the last minute :(
