Literally anything made by a human for any reason is art. I hate "art" as an elevating term. People need to accept there's colossal amounts of bad art, commercial art, derivative art, whatever. It's still "art". I feel more and more aggressive abt this as we see the first ever Non Art actually being produced via "AI" gen images etc.

right!! i've been working on leaving behind words like "media" or "content" unless the most direct definition of those words is actually what i'm referring to!
games, books, films, plays, opera, fanfic, children's doodles, it's all art and i don't care if i get weird looks for, idk, saying Gex is art. it is.
i don't call AI slop "art" either, that's just "AI images."
