Okay this is really frustrating - @Garudina sent me an ask about what my favourite sword is but Cohost ate it alongside the images I attached and then also deleted the ask from my inbox like it had been answered already, so i'm gonna recreate the post below.
GARUDINA: Favourite sword?

Fictional, it's nearly impossible, because the sheer variety of "sword/swordlike" designs serve so many different purposes, flavours etc. that I can't pick One. However, I have a special fondness for the sword Firion is grasping in this specific Amano key art for FF2, which I think most ppl interpret retroactively as the Blood Sword.
Nonfictional - Any sword is wonderful, but I have two picks - The Sawfish zweihander from Bavaria that uses the rostrum of the aforementioned fish as a blade and is also wildly outsize for a human (Some people may have noticed me using the silhouette of this sword as a basis in a few odd designs thru the years) and as a CLASS of "sword" - the Urumi, which is more like a whip created from a very specially prepared and incredibly long/flexile "steel ribbon", makes a noise like thunder when used and can easily savage it's own wielder if not carefully controlled, making it a truly terrifying item.
