Do you have any specific websites you use to buy clothes? Your style is immaculate and I've been looking to expand my wardrobe for a while now.

Yeaaars ago I used to use a visual kei import site called "Hammerhiroko" but they ceased to exist like literally about a decade back. Now I mostly hit up like random stores when i'm out in London - if you ARE in London, I highly recommend Gong Nong Bing Vintage in Soho, and if you're by Crystal Palace anytime, the Bambinos junkstore and Zoop Retro at the Hayne's Lane Market are enormous sources for me. The key thing tho is just.... be open to weird shit, and be like uninterested in brand value or even pretending to know anything abt clothing quality lol. My wardrobe is a mix of like expensive souvenir jackets and karakuri tamashii jeans and then just like... a random literal halloween prop or a shirt I bought off ebay for $3 that has cool holofoil or a trashy dragon on it. Look for anything from everywhere. Sometimes you really do just need to google "gold metallic jockstrap" and buy the first result that shows up that's cheap (Although that said the last gold metallic jockstrap I bought was from a store in Soho for like... quite a bit lol).

The key thing is - abandon shame, literally just throw on whatever looks cool to you and own it. That sounds very facile and trite and is easier said than done but it's absolutely true. if all else fails, a big all over print graphic tee and black drop crotch pants never fails

No yeah I am open to weird shit, it's just that 80% of my wardrobe is family hand me downs and the other 20 is generic tees and jackets that I only got because I didn't yet figure out the persistent feeling I had about myself was body dysphoria lol.
It's just that the only fruitful results were from shein, temu and aliexpress, all of which I'm always skeptical with.
I should probably just bite the bullet though now that I think harder on it.

Is there like a junk store or something anywhere near you? Somewhere that does second hand or etc.? Like 90% of what I wear day to day is from places like that. if you don't have one of those (And I know the pain of living away from any cool shops) then my next rec might be something like ebay and search the keywords for something you want and just see what happens. I had to totally rebuild myself and my wardrobe in the same way after I came out and left home, I feel you, it'll take some time but you'll find your style and build a collection of pieces you can be proud of!
