One of the heavily modded Minecraft servers I played on had a mod to add custom picture frames: stick it on a wall and enter a valid URL to display whatever image lived at that address. This was the server where I built a goth bisexual farmhouse adjacent to my ~☆farmwife's☆~ pink bisexual farmhouse, so the cherry on top of my aggressively-decorated bedroom was a set of four picture frames in a square above the bed and a bi pride flag + heart carefully cut into quarters to fill it.
I had a lot of fun combining It's Totally Pixellated Just Like Minecraft I Swear with the higher-rez shadow halo. No huge technical challenge but it was interesting to make something that feels congruent enough with Minecraft's visual style. While being much nicer than the "paintings" normally on offer. Hate those things so bad.
